INDIANAPOLIS — East 10th Street (from Keystone to Rural) and North Rural Street (from 10th to St. Clair) will be rebuilt for safer pedestrian travel, calmer vehicle traffic, environmental care, and beauty. The City of Indianapolis DMD and NEAR invite neighbors in the affected area to learn about the project, listen to planning engineers, and offer input on the shape of the streetscaping — sidewalks, lighting, curbing, trees, bioswales, etc. The first community input meeting is on Tuesday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m. in Halstead Hall at the John Boner Neighborhood Center, 2236 E. 10th St.
