INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Ernie Pyle World War II Roundtable will host a special dinner event featuring Medal of Honor recipient Ronald E. Rosser on Tues., Sept. 25 at 4 p.m., with dinner at 5 p.m. and meeting beginning at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 2100 E. 71st St. Tickets are $10 and include buffet dinner. Cpl. Ronald Rosser is a veteran of the Korean War, where he distinguished himself in 1952 by attempted to charge enemy lines three times after nearly everyone in his company was dead or wounded. He pulled 15 wounded Americans to safety, and was wounded in the process. He received the Medal of Honor for his valor.
The World War II Roundtable was formed in 1987 and has hosted notable veterans over the years, including General Paul Tibbets, who dropped the atomic bomb on Japan; Jimmy Doolittle’s co-pilot Lt.
