IRVINGTON — As summer comes to an end, the Irvington Summer Music Series will wind down with two events in September. On Sat., Sept. 8, the Carmel Conservatory Quartet will provide a program of classic music at 7 p.m., at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center, 5350 University Ave. Tickets are $10 in advance, or $12 at the door. On Fri., Sept. 21 at 7 p.m., Flatland Harmony Experiment will perform at Coal Yard Coffee,5547 Bonna Ave. Flatland Harmony Experiment is a high octane three piece vocally driven string band from Indianapolis Indiana. Flatland Harmony Experiment dances with a single large diaphragm condenser microphone to share their music with audiences. FHE’s music and stage show drips with intensity and passion and it is easy to tell they love what they do. The show is offered free of charge, welcome to all ages, and sponsored by the Irvington Community Council!
In addition, there will be a voter registration drive at the concert.
