INDIANAPOLIS — The Jane Pauley Community Health Center Dental Clinic (JPCHC Dental Clinic) is officially open and began accepting new patients April 18. The eastside dental clinic is located inside the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township’s Walker Career Center, at 9651 East 21st Street, on the campus of Warren Central High School. The dental clinic was made possible through a partnership between The Jane Pauley Community Health Center, Community Health Network, Indiana University School of Dentistry, Warren Township Schools and the Walker Career Center. The clinic is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for both children and adults. Medicaid insurance is accepted, and for those with no dental insurance, a sliding fee scale discount is offered based on income. Appointments are available by calling (317) 355-2123.
The JPCHC Dental Clinic will also serve as a training site for both the Walker Career Center and the IU School of Dentistry. In the fall, members of the Walker Dental Assistant Program will train with Dr. Kelli Dewell, DDS, a member of the JPCHC Dental Clinic staff, and the IU School of Dentistry will have students completing their final year of residency gain real world experience at the clinic.
