INDIANAPOLIS — What do the Mass Ave/Brookside Industrial Corridor Revitalization initiative, the IndyEast Promise Zone, and the proposed Promise Neighborhood application all have in common? They all overlap with the neighborhood to the north — Martindale-Brightwood.
The Near Eastside Summer Neighborhood Summit will host a special 30 minute Mash-Up of Martindale Brightwood neighbours and Near Eastside neighbours. Neighbors are invited to get some food, get to know each other, and hear from community partners that are overseeing the three large initiatives impacting local communities and Quality of Life Plans.
The summit will be help July 28 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Martin University, 22nd and N. Sherman. After the meet and greet, there will be votes cast for new initiatives, including the Pogues Run Art and Nature Park Revamp, Community Youth Gaming Center, and the Early Learning Coalition
