INDIANAPOLIS — The Harshman Middle School Family-Student-Teacher Association spearheaded a project to increase safety on 10th Street for walkers, cyclers, and cars. They will be installing a temporary street art project on East 10th Street across from Harshman and Potter schools. The project area is from Newman Ave to Oriental Ave.
The project will be in place from April-October. They will be installing bump outs with bollards and paint around the 2 crosswalks across from the school. They will also be adding some additional structures along 10th Street in order to road diet and encourage slower and safer driving. The project plan will be shared once the final project is approved by DPW. Sign up to participate below.
