INDIANAPOLIS — Recently, IMPD Chief Chris Bailey announced an update to the IMPD Executive Staff.
Chief Bailey has appointed Chief Communications Officer Alexa Boylan to a newly created executive role, Director of Strategic Initiatives. This professional staff position reports directly to the Chief and is designed to strengthen coordination of department-wide priorities, ensure policies align with long term goals, and support effective execution of major initiatives. In this role, Boylan will oversee strategic alignment for both the Public Affairs Office and the Chief’s Office and will help guide the implementation of the department’s strategic plan.
