INDIANAPOLIS — The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis will once again partner with Eli Lilly and Company for their Lilly Day of Service. More than 80 Lilly volunteers will join staff and members at three YMCA centers — Benjamin Harrison YMCA, Jordan YMCA and Ransburg YMCA — to lend a hand through service projects and youth enrichment activities on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Services will include:
• Outdoor beautification and camp clean-up
• Garden box building and revitalization
• Basketball clinics with Early Learning students
• Story time and fun activities with kids
This effort builds on Lilly’s recent support of the Court is Hers initiative, which removes financial barriers and empowers girls in sports.
Participating YMCA are: Benjamin Harrison YMCA, 5736 Lee Rd.; Jordan YMCA, 8400 Westfield Blvd, ; and Ransburg YMCA | 501 N. Shortridge Rd. Approximately 80-100 Eli Lilly and Company volunteers and YMCA staff, members and Early Learning students will participate.
