Coburn Place Hosts Lemonade Stand for Kids School Supplies

INDIANAPOLIS — Coburn Place’s popular Lemonade Stand fundraiser raises money so the children in the program start the school year with brand-new shoes and supplies. Proceeds from the Lemonade Stand also set them up for success, helping with art and school supplies, activities, prom dresses, cleats, field trip fees, movie passes for good grades, and much more. This year’s goal is $50,000.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, visit the stand for a glass of ice-cold lemonade to support the children of domestic violence survivors. The Lemonade Stand will be at Coburn Place at 604 E. 38th St. The Virtual Lemonade Stand is taking donations from now through July 19 at www.coburnplace.org/lemons.
In conjunction with the Lemonade Stand, Round Room is presenting a Spiked Lemonade Stand on Friday, July 18, from 5 to 9 p.m. at 8th Day Distillery in the Factory Arts District 1125 Brookside Ave., Indianapolis. Money raised goes directly to support Coburn Place’s Children’s Services program. Coburn Place receives 20% of the bar sales for this event featuring specialty cocktails and mocktails, light bites, a jewelry sale by Pamela Clark Originals, an art auction and more!
