INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Youth Film Festival was created in 2023 with summer 2024 being their official inaugural year! Every year, THE festival facilitates screenings, filmmaker talk backs, workshops, panels, and so much more for the young filmmakers of Indiana.
Filmmakers who submit films to the festival will have a chance to win awards like Best Director, Best Cinematographer, Best High School/Middle School Picture, and more. At IYFF, young filmmakers can connect with local creatives, watch other local Indiana films, and gain potential mentorship opportunities!!
This year’s festival will be held Friday, June 27 through Saturday, June 29 at the Kan Kan Cinema, located in the Windsor Park neighborhood, 1258 Windsor St. Opening night features “Lightbulb Moments” at 7 p.m. Saturday, the festival will run from 11:00 through 8 p.m. with a variety of films from middle school and high school students.
