IRVINGTON — The 4th annual Irvington Pride 2025 will be held on Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. throughout the Historic Irvington community.
Celebrating Pride is more important than ever. Pride fosters visibility, acceptance, and solidarity for the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for rights, respect, and representation.
Vendors, food trucks, live music, a drag show, solidarity walk, refreshments and much more will be on hand. Over 20 businesses throughout Irvington will be participating.
Most of the events will be held in three areas : Irvington Lodge at 5515 E. Washington St. on the corner of Johnson Ave., Irvington Presbyterian Church at 55 Johnson Ave. and its parking lot, and Bonna Ave. between Audubon and Ritter, 202 S. Audubon Rd.
A huge number of sponsors and volunteers make the festival happen — as with most events in Irvington. Hampton & Co. and the Irvington Business Association organized and sponsored the event.
Highlights of the busy schedule include:
• 10:30 a.m. Solidarity Walk — Meet at corner of Audubon and Bonna, and ends at Ritter and Bonna Ave.
• 11 a.m. Story Hour at the Irvington Library at 5625 E. Washington St.
• New Quantum Realty at 5610 E. Washington St. will hold a Contractor Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Irvington Presbyterian Church at 55 Johnson Avenue will have a Water Station, Restrooms, Family activities and Medical Services, Plus there will be a live wrestling event by Wrestle Arts, with shows at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The Irvington Lodge will host the Andy Warhol Market indoors on the 2nd floor from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. An electric indoor village featuring artists, creatives, community resources, DJs, Live music & refreshments from Snug. Then at 8 p.m. a fierce, fun & free Drag Show starring 9 phenomenal performers: Brentlee Bich, Hoosier Daddy, Kalinda, Lisa St. Laurent, Maurice Mantini, Mistress, Riley Poppyseed, Tilda Whirl & Vera. On the third floor, don’t miss the Art Gallery and charity open Pinball Play from 2-6 p.m.
Businesses are offering specials and give-aways, so stop by the shops to see what’s going on. A few of the businesses participating are:
• Lift Off Creamery, 5539 E Washington, Ice Cream and Boba. Find their food truck at the Family Zone (Irvington Presbyterian Church Lot)
• Hampton & Co. at 5515 East Washington Street will offer free Mini Pride Flags & Live music throughout the day.
• At Market Vintage, 9 Johnson Avenue there will be a Pride Selfie Photo Booth. Take a Selfie for a chance to win a Pride Gift Basket
• George Thomas Florist, 5609 East Washington Street. Stop by and pick up a Pride themed bouquet of flowers. George Thomas is also offering Pride roses with all proceeds from sales being donated to Irvington Pride.
• Monsterz Inc. at 7 Johnson Avenue will be the site of the Official Pride After Party, Starting at 10 p.m., DJ’s & Dance Party.
• Black Sheep Gifts at 5626 E. Washington St. is offering a free pair of pride socks, starting at noon.
• Smash’D Burger Bar at 10 Johnson Ave. will have a Beer & Wine Garden & Burgers 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
• Irvington Vinyl & Books at 202 S. Audubon Rd hosts the Pride Mainstage and Marsha P Johnson Market from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The outdoor marketplace with refreshments and food, queer artists, creatives and makers and jammed packed with talent on the main stage.
• Wild Child Coffee at 400 S. Ritter Ave. will have Pride drink specials and live music with Joe Cripe from 1-3 p.m.
It will be a busy day with lots of activities, food, fun, and a strong sense of community.
