BEECH GROVE – The City of Beech Grove recently passed its budget for 2025. The $19 million budget allows for a 3% pay raise for city employees, and additional investments in public works, the police department, and roadworks. The increase is to help employee’s keep up with inflation.
The new budget also features a large investment in busy intersections. Earlier in the year, the City announced that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Organization was going to invest over $3 million for a roundabout at the intersection of Churchman and Emerson. Beech Grove will match more than $1.5 million. The intersection is near Hornet Park Community Center and Beech Grove High School, and has a high rate of traffic crashes.
