INDIANAPOLIS — In order to vote in the Nov. 5 election, you must be registered by Oct. 7. Indiana residents can register to vote at Indianavoters.IN.gov.
To be eligible to vote in Indiana, you must:
• Have a valid Indiana Driver’s License or Indiana State Identification Card
• Be a citizen of the United States
• Be at least 18 years old on or before the election
• Have lived in your precinct at least 30 days before the election
• Not currently imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.
On the ballot on Nov. 5 in Marion County are state offices, including Attorney General, Governor, and Lt. Governor, State Representatives; county offices including Treasurer, Coroner, Surveyor, Indianapolis Public School Board. Also on the ballot are candidates for U.S. Senator and U.S. House of Representatives, as well as U.S. President and Vice President.
