INDIANAPOLIS — The State Fairgrounds will host a 60 Year Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 3 in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The 1964 “Seems Like Yesterday’ event will feature a live listening session of the original audio from the 1964 performance, followed by a performance by the band 1964 performing the Beatles original set list.
General admission tickets are $5, the same price from the 1964 show, with $25 floor tickets available as well. All tickets are on sale now at indianastatefair.com. The special $5 general admission tickets are available while supplies last.
On Tuesday, Sept. 3, many Fab Four activities will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, including:
• A special Beatles themed art installation will be unveiled. The piece created by Indiana artist Cory Heimann is a large-scale Beatles themed permanent installation made out of Rubick’s cubes.
• The same setlist and hits will be performed by 1964, the tribute band.
Special On-site Themed Activations will also include:
• Themed photo & selfie stations at the event
• Themed music playing all-day throughout the event
• Themed Merch that have copy of the original ticket and poster artwork on them from 60 years ago
