INDIANAPOLIS — Kan-Kan Cinema will host a Cat Video Fest from Aug.-2 through Aug. 4, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic. Tickets are $12 in advance on their Web site, kankanindy.com. The theatre is located at 1258 Windsor St., next to Spades Park Library.
The festival is a compilation of the latest and best cat videos culled from submissions, including animation, music videos, and other sources.
The FACE Spay-Neuter Clinic is located at 1505 Mass Ave. on the east side, and promotes spay/neuter surgeries for pets, plus helps assist low-income pet owners with vaccines and preventatives, such as flea and tick treatments. They are also instrumental in helping community cat colonies by providing low-cost spay-neuter services for trap-neuter-release programs (TNR). Their Web site is faceanimalclinic.org and appointments can be made online.
