INDIANAPOLIS — Hal Daniels, Past Commander of the Historic Fort Benjamin Harrison Legion Post 510 is looking to connect with all of the military veterans in Marion County, and the Irvington area is in what the American Legion calls a Donut Hole, which means its not officially aligned with any of the American Legion Post in Marion County. Post 276 in Beech Grove is to the south, Post 495 at 38th and Post Road is to the North and that is about it.
Military veterans in the Irvington area are encouraged to reach out to him and implement some of the programs they do for other veterans. Veterans Service Officers (VSOs) are available for veterans who need medical and financial assistance. They can provide guidance and assistance for survivors of veterans who need military funeral ceremonies.
For more information, call Hal at 317-502-2161 or e-mail hal9000hd@yahoo.com
