IRVINGTON — The Irvington Community Council is counting down six months to the 78th Historic Irvington Halloween Festival, marking the occasion with the annual Beastside Brewfest on Saturday, April 27 from 7:00-10:30 p.m. to support a great cause, hear some great music, and sample some great breweries as they compete for the Beastside Trophy, the most unique brewing trophy in Indiana. Both the professional beer judges and the audience will declare a winner this year.
The event will take place in Lyons Hall on the Lourdes campus, 30 S. Downey Ave.
Breweries that have signed up include Sun King, Bier Brewery, Ash and Elm Cider, Fork and Ale House, Garfield Brewing, Kismetic Beer Company, Chilly Water, Taxman and many more.
Admission includes unlimited samples and a commemorative 16 ounce pint to purchase additional $5 pints. Entertainment will be provided by Dream Slice.
The scheduled food truck is Bus Stop Bistro.
There is a limited number of tickets available, and they sold out last time. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 at door only if available. Tickets may be purchased online at https://event.ontaptickets.com/events/beastside-brewfest-2024-4-27-2024. You will receive e-mail confirmation of your tickets and your name will be on our list. ID will be checked at the door.
Designated drivers can purchase tickets for $10 at the door. Parking is available, but Lyft, Uber, and designated drivers are encouraged.
Proceeds will benefit the renovation of the public community playground at Our Lady of Lourdes and also Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside (FIDO).
