INDIANAPOLIS —The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis invites the community to “Try the Y” and check out its offerings for free at one of its 12 centers between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.
Opportunities to participate include open swim, open gym, wellness center equipment and classes. In addition, families will find activities for children. Information on youth sports, swim lessons, day and overnight camps, as well as employment and volunteer activities will be available.
Anyone who attends “Try the Y” and joins on Community Day won’t pay a join fee. Members who get a friend to join will receive a $25 program credit. Photo ID will be required for admission to the Y centers.

• YMCA at the Athenaeum, 401 E. Michigan St.
• Avondale Meadows YMCA, 3908 Meadows Dr.
• Baxter YMCA, 7900 S. Shelby St.
• Benjamin Harrison YMCA, 5736 Lee Rd.
• Irsay Family YMCA at CityWay, 430 S. Alabama St.
• Jordan YMCA, 8400 Westfield Blvd.
• Ransburg YMCA, 501 N. Shortridge Rd.
