INDIANAPOLIS — Thanks to the generosity of Spike’s K9 Fund, IMPD K9 Ringo has received a custom-fitted ballistic vest made by the experts at K9 STORM.
In November 2023, K9 Ringo, a 6-year-old Belgian Malinois, was stabbed multiple times during a business burglary investigation on the city’s southwest side.
Spike’s K9 Fund made it possible to outfit K9 Ringo with a replacement vest. Embroidered with the inscription, “May the spirit of our beloved Finnegan watch over you Ringo” memorializing a donor’s K9, the vest will offer both ballistic and stab protection for K9 Ringo.
