INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) recently announced the graduation of the IMPD 27th Recruit Class. These new probationary officers will serve Indianapolis neighborhoods after field training.
These officers have been assigned to the Training Division for the past 26 weeks. The recruit training curriculum consists of classroom and scenario-based training. The 27th Recruit Class will now complete 20 weeks of on-the-job training in the Field Training Program.
