INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis Public Library card can be used for more than just checking out books. If you have a card, you can also access services on your home computer online. These are three of the services offered:
• Kanopy: Stream thousands of movies with your library card. Kanopy does not charge you because The Indianapolis Public Library covers all associated costs, allowing you to watch for free with no ads. The collection includes critically acclaimed movies, inspiring documentaries, award-winning foreign films and a fun collection of movies and shows for kids. Visit Kanopy.com/en/indypl for a list of films and shows.
• Craftsy: You can use your Library card to take a Craftsy class and watch step-by-step instructions on a variety of creative crafts, such as baking, cake decorating, quilting, knitting, and more. Visit indypl.org/research-learn/craft-tutorials
• Libby: There are thousands of e-books and audiobooks, hand-selected by The Library, available for reading on Libby. Search for your favorite books, or explore the collection through catalog guides, subjects, featured titles, and curated lists. Visit indypl.overdrive.com for more information.
