INDIANAPOLIS — IndyGo will offer fare-free rides and extended service for NBA All-Star 2024. Fans can ride IndyGo fare-free Feb. 15-18, to celebrate festivities downtown surrounding the 73rd NBA All-Star Game, which will be held Sunday, Feb. 18, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
During NBA All-Star 2024, IndyGo will offer extended service Feb. 16-18 on high-frequency routes departing from the Julia M. Carson Transit Center (CTC), with the last departure at 12:30 a.m. The extended service will be offered to ensure riders have easy transportation from downtown after the scheduled events end.
For those attending All-Star events at Lucas Oil Stadium, riders can take Route 8. Individuals traveling westbound can exit at the Washington and Illinois streets stop. Individuals traveling eastbound can exit at the Maryland and Missouri streets stop. Lucas Oil Stadium is a few blocks south and within walking distance of the highlighted stops.
For those attending All-Star events at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, riders can board nearly any route traveling toward downtown and exit at the CTC. Gainbridge Fieldhouse is one block south and within walking distance of the CTC.
Another stop that allows for easy access to downtown is the Statehouse Station along the Red Line, located near Capitol Avenue and Washington Street.

Once you determine your route, go to your designated stop, board the IndyGo bus and enjoy your free, warm ride as you skip the frustrations of heavy traffic, parking downtown and walking long distances in the cold.
