INDIANAPOLIS — Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold an open house covering the Central Indiana Housing Study on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the East Washington Library branch, 2822 E. Washington St. The organization is undertaking a Central Indiana Housing Study to assess housing pricing, availability by type, quantify how that compares to what the population wants and can afford, and propose policy solutions for identified issues. It will also blend previous work done by the IMPO and external organizations and provide a cohesive picture of the importance of diverse housing options in supporting Central Indiana’s continued growth and vibrancy, including Indianapolis.
