INDIANAPOLIS – Today, Indy Parks announced sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and the policy for free meals for all enrolled participants. Meals will be available to all enrolled participants without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. The Afterschool Meals program is part of Indy Parks’ year-round meals program that helps combat food insecurity in Indianapolis.
Afterschool Meal Serving Sites are open to all children 18 and under Monday through Friday, and Mobile Serving Sites are available Monday through Thursday. Rhodius Park meals are available from Tuesday to Friday. The current list of meal serving sites and hours are as follows.
• Christian Park 4200 E. English Ave. 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Saturdays 11:30 – 12:30 p.m.
• Pride Park 1129 Vandeman St. 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
• Windsor Village Park 6510 E. 25th St. 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Mobile Serving Sites
• 3:00 – 3:30 p.m., East 38th St Library, 5420 E. 38th St.
• 4:00 – 4:30 p.m., Brightwood Library, 2434 N Sherman Dr.
