INDIANAPOLIS — A Christmas Carol, the Indiana Repertory Theatre’s classic annual event, will be presented Nov. 18 – Dec. 24 at the IRT Mainstage, 140 W. Washington St.
Christmas Carol shines a light on the power of kindness and love in this uplifting tale of one man’s journey to redemption. As the weather turns cold, warm your heart with story and song at the IRT. This year, Rob Johansen will play the part of Ebenezer Scrooge, and Ryan Artzberger as Bob Cratchit.
This year, the IRT will present special performances, including Do-Si-Do and Dickens on Nov. 18 from 1:30 – 5 p.m. Do-Si-Do and Dickens is a unique program for families and youth groups to enjoy the timeless classic of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol! When you arrive at the Theatre, you will be greeted with a special snack and warm beverage. Then witness the magic of IRT’s production of A Christmas Carol. After the show, you can ask Scrooge himself questions about the play, and end the day with a dance lesson as festive as Fezziwig’s party! This day of fun is only $30 a person. You must register in advance for this program by emailing education@irt.com or calling 317-916-4841. Space is limited, so book early to ensure a place for this day of merriment and holiday spirit.
