INDIANAPOLIS — The Second Helpings Culinary Job Training (CJT) program is a free job training program designed to prepare individuals for a career in the culinary industry. CJT students are in class 8:00am – 2:00pm, Monday thru Friday at Second Helpings, 1121 Southeastern Ave. While in the CJT program, students learn a wide range of skills that employers look for in hiring people. From culinary skills, job skills, life skills and more, students learn:
• Food Safety and Sanitation
• Interview Skills
• Team building
• Job Readiness
• Classic Cooking Techniques and Preparation
