• All Indianapolis Public Libraries will be closed Nov. 6 for their annual Staff Appreciation Day. The online branch will continue to be open for downloadable and interactive books, audiobooks, magazines, and movies. • Leaf collection in Indianapolis begins on Nov. 6. You can set up to 40 bags of leaves each week using plastic bags at the curb on trash pick-up day. Better yet, leave them on the lawn and mulch them in with your mower to add nutrients to the soil. Now is also a good time to schedule gutter cleaning.
• Faith Assembly of God, 186 Royal Road, Beech Grove, will be holding a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with lots of gift-giving items and fresh breads and more. Get a jump on the season!
