GREENFIELD — Hancock County Arts is seeking dedicated volunteers to help keep their beloved gallery open and running smoothly.
If you have a passion for art, a friendly demeanor, and some spare time to contribute, they would love to have you on board. Volunteering at our gallery is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the local art scene, connect with fellow art lovers, and make a meaningful contribution to our cultural community.
Volunteer responsibilities may include:
• Greeting and assisting visitors
• Providing information about the artwork and artists
• Assisting with exhibition installations and artwork displays
• Monitoring the gallery space to ensure the safety of the artwork
• Helping with promotional activities and special events
• Performing light tasks, such as dusting, watering plants, general care of the inside and back deck
No prior experience in art or gallery operations is necessary. Training and guidance will be provided to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in your role.
