• Congratulations to Abby Vesga on her 4th anniversary of opening Laundry & More in Lawrence, 4212 N. Post Rd. Much more than a laundromat, Laundry & More provides free laundry services on Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-noon for low-income individuals and people experiencing homelessness. • The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will offer a tribute to Aretha Franklin on Friday, March 3 at the Hilbert Circle Theater at 11 a.m. The show features Capathia Jenkins belting out the Queen of Soul’s hits. • Do you have your tickets yet for 2023 Beastside Brewfest? The event is on Saturday, April 29 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes, Lyons Hall at 30 S. Downey St. Several local breweries and cideries will be on hand to compete for the Beastside trophy! Admission is $30 in advance and includes unlimited samples and a commemorative 16 oz. pint to purchase additional $5 pints from the vendors. Food trucks will be announced, and music will be provided by Dream Slice.
