IRVINGTON — Recently, the Historic Irvington Community Council donated funds to help sustain The Big Red Food Box, located at 30 N. Audubon Circle in front of the Irvington Methodist Church. The box was created to serve individuals in need in the community, and provides non-perishable food to a growing portion of the Irvington neighborhood.
Currently, the Big Red Food Box is researching a location for a second red box in the 46219 zip code to further their reach.
The donation came from proceeds from the Irvington Halloween Festival.
