INDIANAPOLIS — Several galleries and communities will be celebrating First Friday on Dec. 2. The Harrison Center will host its annual “color” gallery, featuring “Ginger and Spice,” in the main gallery, featuring works from Harrison Center artists. the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association will host a show in the Underground gallery. The annual IndieAna Handicraft Exchange will be held in the gymnasium with more than 40 local vendors. The Harrison is located at 1505 N. Delaware.
The Circle City Industrial Complex artists will have an in-person First Friday open house, with several studios showcasing items great for gift giving. Check out Bebito Toys upstairs in the North Studios, Circle City Metalworks in the back corridor near the south studios, or Glass Arts Indiana on the first floor corridor. The CCIC is located at 1125 Brookside Ave.
The Irvington Holiday Open House will be going on throughout the evening, with shops along East Washington and Bonna Ave. open for business during special hours. Expect caroling throughout the area, plus the Grinch at Black Sheep Gifts, Santa at George Thomas, and much more.
