INDIANAPOLIS — Federal funding used to support the IndyRent Assistance program is ending. The last day to submit an eviction assistance application or an appeal is November 30.
Active evictions are being prioritized with the remaining funds. Active evictions with a court case number and appeals to original applications are being processed.
Originally, the program began to help Marion County renters who experienced job loss as a result of the pandemic and were in active eviction. Low income individuals and households were eligible for the assistance.
For more information about the program, visit indyrent.org or call 317-912-1260.
