The Irvington Historical Society is holding the fifth annual Presenting Irvington Artists Show at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center (5350 E. University Ave.) now through November 12th. There will be an opening reception on Sat., Oct. 8th from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Seventeen local artists will be on display. Buying contemporary artists work is a fun investment. Just think, at one time Monet and Rembrandt were selling as contemporary artists! Come and view, come and buy or come and commission a unique work by your favorite artist. The gallery is open every Saturday and Sunday 1-4 p.m. Stop by and put in your vote for “The People’s Choice Award”. Thanks to Andrea Light of the Eastside Artist Collective and Anne Hardwick (Bona Thompson board) for organizing this art exhibit.
While at the Bona visit other exhibits including the 100 Anniversary of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority of Butler, Angels of West Baden and International Harvester.
