INDIANAPOLIS — On Friday, September 9, FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic will be offering low-cost pet vaccines from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Frederick Douglass Park located at 161 East 25th street. As part of their pop-up vaccine clinic program, FACE will administer Rabies and FVRCP vaccines to cats, and Rabies and DAPP vaccines to dogs. Vaccines are five dollars per animal and there is no limit to the number of animals one can bring, though all dogs must be secured on a short leash and cats must be held in a sturdy carrier. Rain or shine, this will be the third and final pop-up clinic offered for the 2022 calendar year.
FACE will provide 200 vaccinations at this clinic, which will be conducted on a first come, first served basis. Vaccines are limited and will be administered until they run out. Follow-up vaccine boosters are scheduled at the pop-up clinic and are given during regular business hours at the FACE clinic located at 1505 Massachusetts Ave. The fee for the initial booster shot is waived, but all subsequent boosters are offered at normal low-cost pricing. Additionally, spay/neuter services scheduled at the pop-up clinic are reduced 50% for vaccine recipients.
