INDIANAPOLIS — Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre wraps up the summer with a seaside escape to the fabulous music of Jimmy Buffett in Escape to Margaritaville, now on stage.
Tully is a smooth-talking singer/bartender and a self-deprecating playboy at a tropical resort. He thinks he’s got life all figured out until Rachel, an ambitious, beautiful, and career-minded tourist, steals his heart and makes him question everything.
Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville is a musical comedy featuring both original songs and your most-loved Jimmy Buffett classics including “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Margaritaville,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” “Fins,” “Volcano,” and many more.
Kyle Southern makes his Beef & Boards debut as Tully, with Amanda Tong (Saturday Night Fever, Man of La Mancha) as Rachel. Brett Mutter (Newsies, A Christmas Story) stars as Tully’s friend Brick, and Hannah Elizabeth Boswell makes her Beef & Boards debut as Rachel’s friend, Tammy. The show is directed by Douglas E. Stark and choreographed by Ron Morgan, with musical director Terry Woods.
Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville is on stage for 49 performances through Oct. 2 in the intimate space of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Tickets range from $51 to $76 and include Chef Larry Stoops’ dinner buffet and select beverages.
