INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Public Library is excited to launch the 2022 Summer Reading Program, taking place from June 6 to July 30. This year’s program, Camp Read S’more, includes themed workshops, prizes, and great books for all ages. Prizes include Indianapolis Indians Tickets, pizza coupons, and Children’s Museum haunted house passes. Summer reading programs are not just for kids, with IndyPL’s Adult Summer Reading Program, “Read Outside.” Several branches will celebrate the beginning of the summer reading program with special events:
• East 38th Street, Saturday, June 4 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• Garfield Park, Saturday, June 4 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• Glendale, Saturday, June 4 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
• Lawrence, Saturday, June 4 from 10:45 am – 3:00 pm
• Central Library, Monday, June 6 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Martindale-Brightwood, Wednesday, June 8 from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
• College Avenue, Saturday, June 11 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
• Spades Park, Saturday, June 11 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
