INDIANAPOLIS — The Eskenazi Health Farmers’ Market returns to resume providing fresh and local produce, fresh baked goods, and other market items. Every Tuesday from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., The Matthew R. Gutwein Commonground in front of the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital will host various local vendors such as Creative Wandering, D&S Kettle Corn, Pup and the Pepper, and Lawrence Community Gardens. There will also be special events throughout the summer.
As an extension of the Fresh for You Market, Bud’s BBQ will set up during the Farmers’ Market to serve one of the city’s tastiest lunches. The cookout menu includes an array of locally sourced food and can be purchased at the Fresh for You Market.
Items sold at the Eskenazi Health Farmers’ Market are grown or made within 150 miles of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus and within the state of Indiana. This is an intentional initiative to help support the local economy.
The Farmers’ Market will be conducted throughout the summer months and end on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
