INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Repertory Theater will present Steel Magnolias May 10-June 5 on the Mainstage. Tickets are now on sale. Truvy, Ouiser, Shelby, and the girls will grace the stage to celebrate the bonds of friendship and family in the play that became the movie.
The IRT has updated their health and safety policies for the show. Patrons must show proof of vaccination and a photo ID at the door, or a negative PCR test (administered 72 hours prior to the show), in addition to wearing a mask. However, for this show only, concessions may be brought into the theater, and the balcony only will be a mask-optional area. Masks will still be required in the lobby and other public areas. Patrons on the main floor should continue to wear their masks unless actively eating or drinking.
Tickets are available beginning at $25. Visit irtlive.com or call 317-635-5252 to reserve seats now. The IRT is located at 140 W. Washington St.
