IRVINGTON — The Irvington Community Council will hold a Candidate’s Forum on March 29 at 7 p.m. at Irvington Presbyterian Church, 55 Johnson Ave. The event will host the four candidates in the Democratic primary for Senate District 46, which is a new district formed after the redistricting of the state last year. This is a chance to hear from the candidates as they discuss why they are running, as well as a discussion of economic, education, social justice and other issues they would make a priority if elected.
Early voting begins exactly one week after this forum (Tuesday, April 5th).
The four candidates appearing are (in alphabetical order): Ashley Eason, Andrea Hunley, Kristin Jones, and Karla Lopez-Owens
This is a moderated forum and will be livestreamed. Questions for the candidates will be solicited in advance of the forum. The audience will not be asking questions, but you are encouraged to discuss concerns not answered with the candidates after the forum.
