Indiana Repertory Theatre’s Celebrity Radio Show Returns In-Person!

INDIANAPOLIS — The IRT’s Celebrity Radio Show, presented by Printing Partners, will return as a live event on Friday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 pm along with a silent auction available online and in-person. Always inspired by current events with a humorous spin, the show’s theme is “The Mysterious Tale of the Maskerade Ball: A Dystopian Night of Mirth & Madness.” Tickets are $150 per person for this night of entertainment and laughter to help serve the IRT’s mission in the community.
Celebrity Radio Show takes the stage as an old-time radio show and provides laughs and gasps for audiences and cast members alike. This year’s cast consists of some familiar faces including Tom Griswold of The Bob and Tom Show, Angela Smith Jones from The Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, along with some new players including Dr. Virginia Caine the director of the Marion County Public Health Department, Steve Campbell of the Colts, and more.
In line with health and safety recommendations, this year’s event will require masks and proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination. There are two ticketing options — one for the area where masks must stay on for the entirety of the performance with no beverages, and one for the section that will allow beverages and individuals will wear masks except when actively drinking.
The silent auction will open for bidding the week before the show and people can participate with or without an event ticket. Money raised from the Celebrity Radio Show goes toward the IRT and its programming. More information about Indy’s most hilarious fundraiser, tickets, sponsorship opportunities, and more is available on the IRT’s website at irtlive.com/radioshow.
