INDIANAPOLIS — Labor Day, Sept. 6, is a federal holiday. There will be no mail, and all federal, state, and local government agencies will be closed to observe the holiday. Trash and recycling pick-ups will run on a sliding schedule: Monday will be picked up Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday and so on.
All Indianapolis Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day, except the InfoZone which will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The BMV offices will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 4 through Sept. 6.
