INDIANAPOLIS — The IndyFringe Festival returns August 19-Sept. 5 with over 300 artists and 50 productions every weekend. Many local performers will be part of the festival, and audiences will also get to see several national artists that have made a name for themselves on the Fringe circuit. Visit indyfringe.org for a full listing of shows and to order tickets online.
General admission to shows is $20 for adults, $14 for kids and students. There are several discount programs, including the Fiver Pass (5 tickets for $85) and the Rush Ticket Discounts of $12 for day-of-show (not available for all performances). Advance sale tickets are strongly encouraged and are available up to show time. In person tickets at the box office will be available 30 minutes prior to the show. Ticket sales are credit card only — no cash sales.
Venues are all along Mass Ave. within walking distance of each other. There are two IndyFringe theaters, plus the Basile at the Athenaeum, the District Theatre, and the Oasis at the Murat. Free parking is available on St. Clair St. on the south side, along Fulton St., in the Davidson Street North lot (past Mayflower), and the Trailside Surface lot behind Yats. Paid parking is available at the Art Bank across the street from the IndyFringe Theatre for $5 (pay via phone), and metered parking along Mass Ave.
