INDIANAPOLIS — The Indy-Warren Township Lions will hold is 18th Annual Charity Golf Outing on Friday, June 18 at the Morningstar Golf Club, 271 S. Mitthoeffer Rd. The outing honors the memory of Tom Kennedy Jr. and Joe Billerman. The outing will be held at noon.
The Lions Club is offering sponsorship of Gold level for corporate or individual sponsors for $1,000, entitling the sponsor to a large professional sign at the tee box and a large plaque expressing appreciation. The Silver sponsorship of $500 entitles the sponsor to a sign on a refreshment cart and a plaque. Bronze sponsorship at $400 entitles the sponsor to a professional sign at one of the contest holes.
This will be a Florida Scramble, best ball tournament. Prizes will be awarded for several categories. To encourage social distancing, the social hour and banquet will be replaced with a carryout meal.
The charge for players is $70 per person, and foursomes for $260. Price includes a box lunch, drink coupons, range balls, greens fees, dinner and prizes. To register or for more information, call 317-899-4653 or 317-359-3386.
The Indy-Warren Lions Club supports several projects on the state, local, and international levels. Locally, they collect used eyeglasses, offer assistance at Christmas and throughout the year, sponsor the Cumberland Easter Egg Hunt, and many other project. Internationally, the Lions Club supports Prevention of Blindness programs, Leader Dogs, Lions Eye Bank, and much more.
