INDIANAPOLIS — White River State Park (WRSP) will open a biweekly Farmers Market in its Celebration Plaza, every other Sunday. The next market will be May 16. The market will close after June 20.
The Market at White River State Park will bring local farmers and business owners together for a one of a kind family-friendly farmers market experience. Visitors will enjoy more than 40 vendors offering farm produce, meats, prepared foods and drinks, flowers, plants, and handcrafted artisan goods. In partnership with CITYOGA, The Market will also offer free yoga sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in the Celebration Plaza Amphitheater. All experience levels are welcome.
Located in the Park’s iconic Celebration Plaza (the greenspace between the NCAA Headquarters and White River State Park Visitor Center), the event will provide ample space for safe social distancing and convenient parking as well. This is a dog friendly event; all pets must remain leashed while visiting the Park.
White River State Park is located at 801 W. Washington St. For more information about The Market at White River State Park, visit www.whiteriverstatepark.org/themarket.
