• The Indiana State Fair is returning! After it was cancelled due to the pandemic, this year organizers are aiming for the fair to run from July 30-Aug. 22, and will celebrate the Hoosier spirit. The fair will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and an additional weekend was added. They are working with the Marion County Health Department to ensure the safety of guests and vendors. We really missed it last year, didn’t we?
• The Marion County Public Health Dept. is taking walk-ins of 18+ year olds for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines at the eastside clinic at 9503 E. 33rd St. Hours are Tues. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Wed. & Thurs. 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Fri. 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Pre-registration is encouraged.
