INDIANAPOLIS — Residents are invited to meet Indianapolis Public Library CEO Jackie Nytes during the 2021 “Love Your Library Tour.” Nytes will spend time at every branch during the month of May to chat with visitors, allowing community members a chance to share what they love about Indy Libraries and how the Library can better serve their needs.
Attendees will learn about programs and initiatives, including new branch locations, the new late fine free policy, the Digital Encyclopedia of Indianapolis, and youth and adult programming such as the upcoming Summer Reading Program. Nytes says patron input is crucial to shaping the Library’s future.
While these events have traditionally been set up as community meetings, this year they will be more informal, with Nytes available for drop-in conversations. A list of tour dates and locations can be found on indypl.org.
