IRVINGTON — The Indiana Plein Air Painters Association will hold the first annual Irvington Paint Out on Saturday, May 8 beginning at 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Artists will meet at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center, 5350 E. University Ave., for a wet painting show and sale.
Participating artists from the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association will be painting throughout Irvington, including at historic landmarks, beauty spots, and unique neighborhood spaces. If it is raining, artists will meet in the lobby of the Bona Thompson, which is the host for the day. About 30-40 artists are expected to participate in the Paint Out.
The Irvington Group of painters included renowned plein air artists, including Forsyth and Wheeler.
