INDIANAPOLIS — Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis announced a new virtual program starting in September to continue inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold. Typically, Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis serves girls in-person at over 60 partnering schools but will now be operating virtually due to COVID-19. The program is open to girls age 6-14 and will deliver fresh content each month through May 21. The first program starts on September 21 with the program curriculum “Redefining Beauty & She Votes,” both signature Girls Inc. programs
Each month-long program includes two hour-long sessions per week. Participants will be in groups of 15 for their program and will receive programming live from two facilitators. Each participant will receive a programming box with curriculum handouts, materials and Girls Inc. swag that will be mailed directly to the participant.
Registration is available at https://girlsincindy.org/ programs/virtual-programming/. The registration fee is $20 per participant per program with income-based scholarships and technology need-based supports also available.
