Library & Count Me INdy Provide Help with Census Forms

THE INDIANAPOLIS PUBLIC LIBRARY HAS SUSPENDED SERVICES AS OF SATURDAY, MARCH 14 AT 5 P.M. UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THE INFO ZONE AT THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM WILL CLOSE AT 5 P.M. ON FRIDAY, MARCH 13. YOU CAN STILL VISIT THE LIBRARY ONLINE AT WWW.INDYPL.ORG FOR EBOOKS, EAUDIO BOOKS, STREAMING MOVIES AND MUSIC AND RESEARCH TOOLS. OVERDUE ITEMS WILL HAVE EXTENDED DUE DATES UNTIL THE LIBRARY REOPENS.

INDIANAPOLIS — Beginning on Monday, March 16, individuals can have their questions answered and receive assistance in filling out 2020 Census forms at most Indianapolis Public Library locations. These free help sessions staffed by representatives from Count Me INdy and the U.S. Census Bureau will show people how to fill out census forms online.
This year’s census count will be used to distribute more than $675 billion annually to all levels of government and communities across the nation.
The IndyPL census help sessions, part of Count Me INdy Days taking place across the county, will be held at the following times and locations.
• Monday, March 16 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the College Avenue Branch 4180 N. College Ave.
• Tuesday, March 17 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Franklin Road Branch 5550 S. Franklin Rd.
• Wednesday, March 18 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Brightwood Branch, 2435 N. Sherman Dr.
• Wednesday, March 18 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Fountain Square Branch, 1066 Virginia Ave.
• Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.     E. 38th Street Branch, 5420 E. 38th St.
• Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Southport Branch, 2630 E. Stop 11 Rd.
• Monday, March 23 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Glendale Branch, 6101 N. Keystone Ave.
• Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Spades Park Branch, 1801 Nowland Ave.
• Monday, March 30 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the E. Washington Branch, 2822 E. Washington St.
• Monday, March 30 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Beech Grove Branch, 1101 Main St.
• Wednesday, April 8 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Irvington Branch, 5625 E. Washington St.
• Wednesday, April 15 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St.
In addition to the free sessions, the Indy Library will provide free access to computers and the Internet throughout March and April for those who wish to visit on their own to complete the online census form.
