Paramount Schools Announce Relocations

INDIANAPOLIS — This year Paramount Schools will accomplish two significant milestones. Their campus construction projects, Paramount Community Heights and Paramount Englewood, are on track to open for the 2020-2021 school year.
Both schools will move from their temporary locations to state-of-the-art learning spaces at the permanent campuses in August 2020. The P.R. Mallory Building at 3005 E. Washington Street, will become the campus for Paramount Englewood and Purdue Polytechnic High School. Community Heights’ new site is currently under renovation at 1203 East St. Clair St. in the former Beacon Printing and Graphics building. Currently, the Community Heights facility is at 1525 N. Ritter, where it leases space from Lutheran Child and Family Services.
Plans for the Cottage Home location on St. Clair include 20 classrooms, which will allow them to double enrollment from the Community Heights location. They are waiting on a certificate of appropriateness for the redevelopment plans to begin building. The school will likely be open by early July 2020.
The innovative facilities will feature bright, spacious classrooms with contemporary furnishings, advanced technology capabilities, and unique student discovery centers. This move accommodates the schools’ continued growth and allows PSOE to serve more students.
Paramount currently serves about 1,100 students in three schools in grades K-8. The other school is located at 3020 Nowland Ave.
